- WEll, it seems that these modems are slow because they don't work at
- 28.8bps and 33.6bps, but 28.8Kbps and 33.6Kbps, that's 28800bps. The
- 28.8k uses pretty much use the full bandwidth and capabilities of the
- current fone systems, many people can't connect at the highest rates and
- therefore 33.6kbs modems are usless to them.
